Maps, diaries, correspondence, typescripts, newspaper cuttings, legal documents, and notes relating to James Tyson, the Tyson family and their pastoral runs, particularly Heyfield, and the administration of James Tyson's Queensland estate. Most of the material is secondary. Included are papers prepared during 1965 by Leslie G. Mills, during 1960-1961 by Clyde M. Whittakers, and John Tyson Doneley's scrapbook. There is a typed copy of James Tyson's Heyfield diary for 1863-1864, edited and with notes by Clyde Whittakers.
